The Reytons’ homecoming concert on Saturday, July 6, 2024, was a defining moment in the band’s career. With a sold-out crowd of around 20,000 attendees, this was their largest headline performance to date. The event required innovative design, engineering, and flawless execution to meet the scale and unique requirements of the production.
Scope of Work
Design, Engineering, and Construction
- Delivered comprehensive design and engineering solutions to support the stage structure and associated components.
- Designed, engineered, and built support towers and frames for the main stage and PA wings.
Scaffolding Framework
- Supplied, hired, installed, and dismantled Layher system scaffold support towers.
- Included rear buttress bays for enhanced stability, with ballast tailored to the design.
- Integrated timber frames to support netting and scrims as needed.
Banner and Mesh Installations
- Installed PVC mesh banners with four-colour printing, hems, and eyelets to meet the specific requirements of the project:
- Towers: Banners customised for the tower dimensions.
- Stage Roof Front: A bespoke banner to complement the main stage design.
- Screen/PA Wings: Tailored banners for seamless integration with the event setup.
